Taroko National Park

Home to the incredible Taroko Gorge, Taroko National Park is located on the east coast of Taiwan and is one of the most visited of Taiwan’s nine national parks.

This diverse landscape of soaring mountains, steep gorges, deep forests, and crystal-clear waterfalls covers more than 355 square miles. Taroko National Park is also home to a huge diversity of habitats and shelters an array of plant and animal species.

Renowned for its abundance of hiking trails, no trip to Taroko National Park is complete without a visit to Gorge Gateway, the Eternal Spring Shrine and Swallow Grotto. Taroko National Park is best experienced in the spring and autumn months.
